Concern for the Community

Keep the Midlands Beautiful Adopt-A-Highway Program

The last value in the Seven Cooperative Principles adopted by the NRECA emphasizes the importance of serving the community. We strive to create a better environment for the people in our area and look forward to next year’s project.

On November 2020, Central Electric agreed to participate in the Keep the Midlands Beautiful Adopt-A-Highway program. Central employees have volunteered to do quarterly litter pickups on Burning Tree Road for the next two years.

2020 School Supply Drive

In support of William S. Sandel Elementary School, on August 19th 2020 Tina Smedes and Jeff Lewis delivered supplies such as crayons, spiral notebooks, markers, pencils and much more donated by Central Employees.
